    I replace the earlier manual version of this puck in a coupled of HOA managed irrigation zones. The downloadable app for you Android or Apple works really well to set timings and store seasonal adjustment by month. Bluetooth range is good but of course, if the valve well is flooded and the puck is submerged, you will pull the puck out to allow the Bluetooth connection. It has a battery replacement reminder which is useful. This is a great and timesaving controller. Recommended!

    Installation was really simple. Looking to add the rain sensor. It needs a firmware update when you receive it. I’m guessing it’s too fix the connection issue because it took a few tries to get it to connect to my phone and stay connected long enough to update it. But after it finally updated, it works perfectly. I can even connect to it from my bedroom on the 2nd floor. Very good range!! Highly recommend!!

    These are second to none of you need a controller or in a remote place with no AC power supply. Just note that you need 12v solenoids with them. If you have resisting rain bird valves you can buy 12v solenoids and replace the 24v ones on top. Real easy.
