Does exactly as advertised and I love the convenience – replaced an earlier non Bluetooth model and the ease of reprogramming is amazing.

My pool filler is controlled by a irrigation valve. It loss contact with main controller so I was working it by hand then the solenoid stoped working. I wanted a valve with remote control and NO wires. Since this ia an unique installation I did a lot of research. This controller fit the bill. No wires , iPhone control, Easy to install, simple interface to program, worked on the first try!! Takes 2 9 volt batteries, supposed to be good for 6 months or more. I think it’s great value, very happy with the device

I have had this one week. Used it to replace a Hunter Node100. Installed two 9 volt batteries and replacing the old solenoid and controller in a valve well was an easy 2-minute task. When I started to iPhone App and selected the controller in the App, it update of unit’s Bluetooth and then its Firmware, which took about 2 minutes. After that it allows you to rename the controller and take a picture of its area. I find that Bluetooth range is about 40-50 feet (line of sight). Only minor thing is the prinited instructions are not extensive. Some things — like ranaming the controller — were not intuitive to me. So next thing to monitor will be the battery life. When I find out more about that, I plan to update this review. But for now, this is a 5-star product.

I had the Hunter Node manual process and it was a big pain to get on my hands and knees to make even the slightest change, like an extra watering. This was not the Hunter Nodes fault, it was the landscape guy who installed it but that was 10 years ago. Ran like a champ (the old one) but as I just mentioned, a real pain to make manual changes. Now, when the blue tooth BT-100 arrived, I installed it in maybe 15 minutes and it works great! It has many features that you can easily use, too many to go into here but very easy.I am FREE! No more on my knees, just my smart phone standing up. And, you do not need to replace an older Hunter, just unscrew the non-Hunter control and screw in this one. This until delivers!

I purchased this to replace an 18 year old Hunter SVC. It worked well but was very difficult to program and over the years the display became unreadable. So I bought the Hunter Node-BT-100 to replace it. The BT-100 is great! It’s very easy to program via the smartphone app. The Bluetooth range is about 50 feet unobstructed line-of-sight. My installation has the valve and solenoid in-ground and the Node-BT-100 in my pump water well. The mount that comes with the unit works nicely.

Easy to install, and setup with the app. App ui isn’t super intuitive, but is so much easier than nudging buttons and viewing on the old lcd panel that this replaced.

I replaced an original Hunter Node that was acting up, and it took all of 2 minutes to unscrew the old solenoid and screw the new one in. Then another 5 minutes to program on the app. So much easier than crouching down and messing with the old Node. One tip is of the software says unsuccessful update when you first update it out of the box, do a factory reset and totally remove it from the software and do the setup again. Second time it worked flawless.

I downloaded the app after installing the controller and after the controller updated the firmware I was ready to program. I had everything setup and working within 30 minutes.

This replaces a manual Hunter node that was such a fuss when needing to adjust settings. Goodbye YouTube videos. I had been dreaming about this solution for some time. Thank you, Hunter!

Functioned as advertised with the exception you need to be much closer than 50 feet to connect. Great improvement over previous model.
