The artificial intelligence used with this controller is awesome. Super easy to set up my sprinkler system schedule. I did have a problem with initial connectivity, but a call to tech-support, and talking to a live person, solved the problem in about 25 minutes.

This thing is crazy easy to install and set up! When hooked up to our wifi it watches local weather and adjusts/skips watering accordingly if it rains, if it’s too windy, or if it may freeze. Also it looks back at local weather history for 10 years and seasonally adjusts the watering. It will easily pay for itself in 2 seasons by the savings on our water bill. I wish I’d have bought this years ago!!

The Rachio 3 is an amazing device. I don’t think that I have purchased any technology recently that comes close to it in comparison. My Rachio replaced an old Rainbird unit that had to be reprogramed each time a storm came through and more than once caused the City of Frisco to threaten me with a fine me each time that it turned my sprinklers on not on time and not on sprinkler days. Everything does work with Rachio and even the App is easy to use. My only complaint is the app yard map was hard to draw with my old phone. Kudos to the Rachio programers and designers! Also, looks great in my garage!!

Ease of use was primary draw. I can turn on, create schedule, modify any part of the cycle all from inside. Very easy to use. No more running outside to change anything part of the cycle.

Had mine for a year now. Still loving it. Not loving the alexa integration as much. Have to remember exact commands and she stills seems to get confused alot. But I would def buy this again. Love the ability to control my lawn sprinklers and garden drip irrigators from my phone. Setting up schedules is a breeze, although relying on the weather mans predictions has left my lawn dry several times lol.

Easy to setup, easy to integrate to existing sprinkler zones, easy to toggle zones and I love the option to set manual run on any zone. Great to test a zone when sprinkler changes are made. Highly recommend.
