I ordered a different brand and it was alright but all plastic and cheap. It didnât lock in to place and kept collapsing with I pad in it. It kept falling over if barely touched. I ordered this one and what a huge difference. Itâs heavier and the lip is actually tall enough to hold the iPad. The base is metal with the stand a heavy thick plastic that locks in place so it canât collapse. I absolutely love it. Small enough to fold up and travel with. I just ordered another one for my bedroom nightstand.

Good quality, exactly as pictured, easy to change the angle, option to lay my iPad almost flat (perfect for drawing) or have it almost vertical in portrait or landscape mode (perfect for watching videos). Would buy again. Note, it is fairly small, check the measurements before you buy. Works perfect for my iPad 10.
